Details Of The Cashflow Board Games
There are three board games.
Cash Flow 101
I've played Cash Flow 101 quite a few times over the past 3 years.
Once a month a group of us get together for a 101 session. From
this I think you can realise that I strongly recommend the game.
You could play this game as a solo player though it's more fun
to play in a group – and you get the benefit of other players'
help. This is how it works:
Each player gets a rat playing piece, and you take it in turns
to move round the ‘rat race' circle, landing on various squares
according to the role of the dice. Maybe you'll get the chance
to buy a property or a stock – or maybe you'll waste your savings
on a new television.
When you land on an investment square, all the players can discuss
whether you should go for it or not. This is a co-operative game.
All the players try to help each out. In fact the discussions are
an important part of the learning process.
101 teaches you the basics of managing your cash flow and the
strategy of buying assets to produce passive income so you can
escape the rat race. You have to keep track of your finances using
pencil and rubber and the pre-printed templates for your Income
Statement and Balance Sheet. You soon get the hang of it.
You also get 3 CDs from Robert Kiyosaki
explaining the principles of Cash Flow.

Cash Flow 202
This is an add-on to Cash Flow 101. In fact you play on the Cash
Flow 101 board – so you can't play 202 without the 101 board.
Cash Flow 101 is concerned with investing in real estate, stocks
and buying businesses. Cash Flow 202 aims to teach you the advanced
skills of ‘technical investing'. These include the use of ‘put'
and ‘call' stock options, ‘short' stock sales, and real estate
options.
You also get another 5 CDs with this game.

Cash Flow For Kids
This is a completely separate ‘stand alone'game, with its own
playing board. It uses ‘counters' rather than ‘money' and is much
simpler. It tries to teach some basic ideas – like the difference
between assets and liabilities.
Cash Flow 101 is recommended (on the box) for ages 10 and up.
I think 101 is better if you're playing as a family, whereas Kids
might be better if children are playing on their own.
You get one CD with this game.
