Books by Robert Kiyosaki
Robert Kiyosaki has written or co-authored many books on personal finance.
However, the most important three as far as this web site is concerned are:
- Rich Dad Poor Dad
- Cash Flow Quadrant
- The Business of the 21st Century
Rich Dad Poor Dad is the first book in the series. Cash Flow Quadrant is the second. The Business of the 21st Century is much more recent.
If you have not read any of these books my recommendation would be the cash flow quadrant book, as it covers the main ideas which you find on this web site. However, if you are specifically looking at network marketing, the one to read is the 21st century.
Rich Dad Poor Dad
This introduces the key idea of passive income and the route to financial freedom. Robert Kiyosaki defines financial freedom as the length of time you can live without working. If you have sufficient passive or residual income to cover all your living expenses long term then you have unlimited financial freedom.
Cash Flow Quadrant
Here Robert Kiyosaki summarises the key points in the first book. He goes on to explore the four different ways of earning income, and the mind set required for each quadrant. He also offers some advice on how to move towards increasing your passive or residual income.
The Business of the 21st Century
This book is about network marketing. Robert Kiyosaki is not personally involved in network marketing, but he sees it as an ideal way for people to start making the shift towards the right hand side of the cash flow quadrant – in terms of how you think and behave as well as the way you earn your money.
In this last book Kiyosaki says that network marketing “is a real world business school for people who want to learn the real world skills of an entrepreneur, rather than the skills of an employee”.
